移動WiMAX技術提供基於IP的寬帶無線接入應用服務, 具備服務質量(QoS)、高安全性、用戶容量可擴展性等特徵，更重要的是可實現移動狀態下的無縫切換。 ASTRI 的團隊根據目前的市場發展和客戶接觸，看到WiMAX在香港/中國市場的發展趨勢在: 一）發展中國家的部署，例如，東南亞和非洲國家，二）應用在專網/專案，如支持移動視頻監控的緊急通信。 對於發展中國家的部署WiMAX，成本會是重要的考慮因素，冗餘(如hotswap/hotstandby)要求相對寬鬆。另一方面，由於WiMAX技術能夠傳輸高速，上行和下行，實時，高帶寬的數據，WiMAX技術在應急通信具有很好的潛質，，如提供移動視頻監控。在這兩種情況下，作為一個提供服務的網絡，網絡管理系統更須到位以 管理WiMAX網絡設備（ASN-GW及基站），包括配置，故障和性能管理。 ASTRI 的團隊對推動WNEP, CWMS, ASN-GW市場是非常進取及積極, 與這些客戶及合作伙伴共商怎樣更完善及有效地佔領市場。完整的網絡與業務管理系統（管理整合的ASN-GW和BTS）和可選的低成本ASNGW硬件平臺可以進一步推動移動WiMAX的發展和部署，幫助他們更好地佔領市場。 ASTRI 的團隊已經完成了網管系統CWMS項目的開發,並正在進行ASN-GW項目的開發工作。目前已經發展了多個客戶及合作夥伴，簽署了CWMS和ASN-GW的License合約，如Comba，Altai科技、Pacific Systems、MTI、Neomeridian等，他們已經將CWMS部署到了全球多個國家。通過License的方式，基站設備廠商可以爲其客戶提供更完整的解決方案。 ASTRI 的團隊在WNEP項目將利用在CWMS及ASN-GW技術及市場上的優勢，亦已簽署達10%授權合同和合作。
