1. Applications of LMS
• Application on school social networking

2. Setup of Open Research LMS
• Hosting of open LMS for schools, publishers and research institutes
• Open environment to stakeholders for trials and innovation
• Maintenance and bug fixing of open LMS
3. Deployment of Pilot LMS
• Customization of LMS for pilot schools
• Testing and trial with pilot schools
• Maintenance and bug fixing of pilot LMS
• Statistics & report for eLearning evaluation

描述:
為了配合香港教育局推行的電子教學試驗計劃，應科院會研發學習管理系統: 一個電子學習的基本要素。本計劃的重心並不是先有一個完美的教與學方案，而是提供一個平台及工具去嘗試並尋找一個完美的方案。一個開放的平台，可以讓各持份者能在這平台上投放入各自專業的能力參與設計並實現一個大家滿意的方案。 此外，推行電子教學的另一個障礙就是缺乏適合的電子教材。出版商因為版權問題不願意把書本教材放在其他的ＬＭＳ。應科院是一個半政府機構，出版商對應科院作為一個橋樑的角色連繫出版商及學校的ＬＭＳ，十分有信心。這樣，學校可以用同一個登入名稱去登入不同的出版商網站取得書本內容。同時，學校亦可下載出版商收集了有關學生學習的數據，從而去改善學生的學習模式。
