LTE無線寬帶技術可以在運輸和公共安全有許多應用。這是CT和ICD的合作項目。我們將充分利用應科院多個領域現有的技術，和開發新技術，以解決香港的應用需求 。 這整個項目的目標包括： 1。開發基於LTE的室內定位跟踪算法 2。開發視頻分析算法 - 非監督學習和行為分析 - 車輛身份驗證（檢測假車牌） - 實時視頻質量增強（去霧，去模糊，去噪聲） 3。利用應科院的LTE Smallcell技術建立私人LTE試驗網絡(警察/地鐵)。 該項目還將有助於提升/推進技術能力和通信和視頻監控行業在香港和區域的競爭力。
