描述:
本項目的目的是ASTRI 聯合香港本地的四家大學（城大，中大，理工大，科大）研發應用於下一代多媒體標準的新型編碼工具集。本項目的輸出包括8項知識產權（IP），每一項IP都將被集成到參考軟體中，同時還將提供仿真結果及硬體實現複雜度分析。一旦我們的IP被標準化組織接受，相應的專利進入標準專利池，我們會通過標準化組織向開發相應標準產品的公司收取一定的專利費。由於多媒體標準產品應用的廣泛性，這樣的專利費將給ASTRI帶來長期的收益。
